Area code 346 is a telephone area code in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) for the Houston, Texas, metropolitan area. It was introduced as an overlay for the existing area code 713 and area code 281. It serves the same geographic area as those two codes plus area code 832. It became operational on July 1, 2014. As an overlay area code, it requires 10-digit dialing for all calls.
